Imran and Sam did my removal yesterday from a second floor flat with no lift to my new house. I have a lot of stuff including crates of very heavy alcohol and the boys worked soo hard! They were up and down stairs continually until the job was complete. They literally didn’t stop! In reality it should have been a 3 person job which the lads agreed but they worked even harder to get everything in the van! They had a very positive attitude that nothing was a problem for them and even waited patiently at the new house so I could show my parents around before they started moving boxes.
I was really impressed when they moved a room around when I changed my mind about where a chest of draws went. Overall I would really recommend plaza removals. Plaza Removals are the best removal company I have ever used. I have usually gone for more established firms (Bishops and GB Liners) in the past, however having had six quotes prior to our move date Plaza Removals came in at the most competitive price and were not put off about the huge task that was ahead of them at all and were accommodating in every aspect. We were moving from Essex and a remote barn in Sussex with only a steep forest track to access it and moving to a remote rural part of Wales, again with a tricky farm track to navigate. Mo, who led the organisation of the move organised seven Lutron vans (anything bigger would not have made it) and a team of ten brilliant men. After an easy move from Essex a few days before, the Sussex to Wales move began and was complete in just two days. All of the vans were locked in Plaza’s secure overnight storage/lock up ready for the journey to Wales the following morning. We had some valuable and heavy items like a huge Esse ironheart oven, stone slabs, fencing, garden machinery, a Steinway grand piano and a few rare chandeliers, which required bespoke boxes, and paintings. All of which were carefully packed and moved with no damage at all.
Michelle who runs the office at Plaza Removals helped us immensely as our completion date could not be confirmed so we had to have a few dates changed but this was all professionally managed and coordinated with the team. On the move day, Aki led his team of men professionally and effectively. The vans all arrived at the Welsh farmhouse at 12pm but we could not get the keys released until 2pm which the team were absolutely fine and patient about. The unloading went incredibly smoothly, they arranged the furniture (and even moved it again when we changed our minds and did it with a smile) all of the beds were assembled and rubbish removed. The team did not leave until they were happy that we were settled. Aki and his team of men were all extremely friendly and polite and seemed to enjoy working with each other as they were all smiling and extremely present for the whole duration. I had an absolute unbeatable experience moving from West to South East with Plaza. I booked them a day prior to when I had planned my move because I was busy with work, but they made it very easy as they were very good and professional with their services. The driver they sent was very helpful and I couldn’t have asked for a more relaxed shifting rendezvous. Thank you so much and I am absolutely delighted.
